The research assistant will support both documentary analysis of government materials related to medical assistance in dying (Maid) and the gathering and organization of qualitative data from focus groups. Tasks also include assisting with data coding and analysis, contributing to research summaries, and supporting project coordination with community partners.
Required qualifications include experience with qualitative research methods such as focus group facilitation and thematic analysis, along with excellent french writing and communication skills and proficiency in english. Demonstrated interest in sociolinguistics, language policy, or public policy is required, with preference given to mcgill phd or post-Doctoral students, or master's students in the m.sc.a. In multilingual digital communication.
