Teaching Assistant - YCIT 200

The teaching assistant must assist the course lecturer with all aspects of the course, including attending classes, preparing materials, consulting with the lecturer, and assisting students with learning both in-Person and online. Responsibilities also involve leading online discussion groups, conducting tutorials, holding office hours, assisting with grading, and ensuring confidentiality and equal treatment of all students.

Applicants must be current masters or phd students at mcgill university studying computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering, with prior demonstrable study in the course subject matter. Candidates must possess excellent academic performance, a good command of english, strong teaching skills, and experience using the mycourses platform.
