Summer assistants will provide respectful, high-Quality direct care to people with intellectual disabilities during the summer camp, including personal care and medication support. They must also maintain accurate records and collaborate with the camp leader and other assistants for smooth camp operations.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be fluent in english, have a valid driving license, and be at least 18 years old. Essential requirements include a clear police check with vulnerable sector screening, cpr & first aid certification, and the ability to lift up to 25kg for manual handling.
