The day support assistant provides direct care and assistance to persons with developmental disabilities, supporting them to gain new life and relational opportunities and skills within an intentional community setting. Major duties include fostering a welcoming atmosphere, providing high-Quality direct care that encourages independence, and maintaining accurate records related to individuals' goals and well-Being.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be fluent in spoken and written english, along with being 18 years of age or older. Essential requirements include a clear police check, vulnerable sector screening, valid cpr/First aid certificates, and a valid ns driver's license with a willingness to drive.
