Paddling Instructor (Seasonal)

Paddling instructors are responsible for leading fortwhyte alive paddling programs, which includes greeting participants, managing equipment like pfds and boats, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. They must provide basic instruction in canoeing and kayaking according to the program manual while supervising participants on the water.

The role requires delivering paddling instruction to school groups during weekdays in late spring and working with the general public during weekday evenings in summer, focusing on welcoming, supervision, and safe equipment handling. Instructors will receive specific training on equipment use, maintenance, and paddling procedures.
