The community disability worker is responsible for implementing individual service plans to support individuals with disabilities, ensuring their participation in community activities and personal development. They must maintain safety, provide direct care, and communicate effectively with individuals and their families.
Candidates are preferred to have post-Secondary education in community rehabilitation and disabilities studies, along with effective communication and time management skills. A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also essential.
