The professor will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that accommodates diverse student backgrounds and utilizing pedagogical principles and educational technologies to actively engage students. Duties also include developing current and relevant curriculum and effectively working with students, the program team, and various internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates must possess an automotive technician diploma or provincially certified automotive technician (310s), along with a minimum of five years of recent work experience as an automotive technician. Essential qualifications also include post-Secondary teaching experience demonstrating udl and current assessment methodologies, along with the ability to pass a clean vulnerable sector check.
