The primary responsibility involves the preparation and delivery of engaging and innovative coursework in registered nursing, adhering to college core values and culturally responsive teaching principles. Faculty must also actively participate in service activities, curriculum improvement, student advising, and maintaining professional standards.
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in nursing or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the qualifying field, along with a minimum of three years of recent clinical experience in nursing. A current, unencumbered texas registered nursing license and active cpr certification are mandatory requirements.
