  • <p><strong>OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST</strong></p><div><p><strong>(0.2 FTE </strong> <strong>TEMPORARY</strong> <strong>)</strong></p><p>School District No.
  • 42 (SD42) meets the learning needs of approximately 17,000 students of all ages in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows and is defined by its determination to keep student learning and growth at the heart of all its decisions.
  • With an annual budget of over $200M and over 2,000 staff, the school district provides K-12 educational services in 22 elementary schools, six secondary schools, and two alternate schools.
  • It also provides a variety of certificate programs and relevant quality life-long learning opportunities through Ridge Meadows College and Continuing Education.</p><p><br></br> SD42 is looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our Learning Services Team, for a 0.2 FTE Temporary position, working Fridays, effective immediately to June 30, 2026, or until the return of the incumbent, but not beyond June 30, 2026.
  • The Occupational Therapist will work to promote, maintain and develop the skills needed by students to be functional in a school setting, provide services to children with orthopedic, neurological muscular, spinal, joint or sensory dysfunction, as well as those with cognitive and complex neurobehavioral disorders.
  • The Occupational Therapist will provide services that may include assessment, consultation, program planning and assistance in diagnosis, treatment and equipment selection/adaptation.
