The instructor will deliver training to rcaf aircrew students in classroom and practical settings using aircraft and simulation tools, while also assisting in the design and creation of lesson plans and training materials. Responsibilities include acting as a subject matter expert and providing firsthand experience in simulated search and rescue scenarios.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of search and rescue technician experience or equivalent leadership experience and must be eligible to work in canada, capable of obtaining high-Level security clearances. Fluency in english is mandatory, along with superior interpersonal and communication skills, and the physical ability to work in confined spaces like flight training devices.
