Instructor pilots prepare military aviators through classroom instruction, synthetic training, and live flying in the g120tp aircraft, contributing to the next generation of rcaf pilots. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, maintaining flying proficiency, executing syllabus missions, and supporting courseware development and testing.
Candidates need significant flying experience, either 500 hours on a high-Performance single-Pilot aircraft with a commercial pilot license and instructor rating (If no military experience) or demonstrated military flying experience meeting prior learning assessment requirements. All candidates must be fluent in english, have recent flying experience (Within 10 years), hold a category 1 medical, and pass security evaluations.
