The instructor pilot will support the design and development of the future rcaf pilot training system by undertaking aircraft conversion, supporting courseware development, and testing integrated systems. During steady-State operations, the role involves delivering training in the classroom, on simulators, and in the g120tp aircraft while maintaining flying proficiency and currency.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 500 flying hours in a single-Pilot, high-Performance aircraft if they lack prior military experience, along with a commercial pilot licence and a held or previous transport canada instructor rating. All candidates must be fluent in english, have recent military or professional flying experience (Within the last 10 years), hold an unrestricted tc category 1 medical, meet anthropometric limits, and pass security evaluations.
