We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic teachers who would like to be part of a rich community that values education.</p><p>Khalsa School Newton provides quality education to over 1000 students in British Columbia’s fastest-growing community.
Serving a diverse and multicultural society, we are a progressive school campus offering a broad range of innovative programs and services to support the learning of our students and staff in the school campus.</p><p>Successful candidates will be teaching the BC's New Curriculum and supporting learners.</p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Bachelor of Education (Elementary or Secondary) degree, or equivalent training</li><li><strong>Valid BC Teaching Certificate</strong> - Applicants with certification to teach in BC will be given preference.
If you are certified to teach in another province, you will be considered - granted you apply for BC certification.</li><li>Successful candidates must have the appropriate certification level, have qualifications and meet requirements to work in Canada.</li></ul><p>For your application to be considered, all required documents must be included with your Teacher application which include:</p><ul><li>resume</li><li>cover letter</li><li>recent teaching reports and/or practicum reports</li><li>copy of BC Teaching Certificate and/or TQS card or information on current status.
