Successful candidates will be teaching the BC's New Curriculum and supporting learners.</p><p><span>Position 1: </span>Physical & Health.Education Teacher ( Grade 3-5 )</p><p>Start Date: September 1, 2026</p><p>Salary: $6600 per month</p><p><i><span>We are seeking candidates who have the below qualifications:</span></i></p><ul><li>Bachelors of Education</li><li>Valid BC Teaching Certificate (Coach/Athlete with SR or COQ).
Special attention will be given to applicants who are certified to or can be certified to teach in British Columbia.</li><li>You must be eligible to be employed in Canada.</li><li>Preferable: Teaching experience within Canada</li><li>Ability to work full time</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of the BC Curriculum</li><li>Ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and school objectives including the needs and abilities of students required</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers and parents required</li><li>Excellent communication skills in the English language, both oral and written required</li></ul><p>For your application to be considered, all required documents must be included.</p><p>Teacher application which include:</p><ul><li>resume</li><li>cover letter</li><li>recent teaching reports and/or practicum reports</li><li>copy of BC Teaching Certificate and/or TQS card or information on current status</li></ul><p>Khalsa School is a Sikh school and a part of the student’s education at our schoolsincludes education in the Sikh Faith (Sikh music, history, scriptures).
These subjects are taught by our religious department and staff.
Successful applicants will only be required to teach the BC Curriculum in English.
