Position Summary

CRIM 331 – Family Law and Family Policy Examines legislation, policies, institutions, and processes relevant to family welfare. Considers issues such as child protection and the structure and operation of family courts. Includes comparisons with other jurisdictions. Position Requirements The successful candidate must: · hold a MA or PhD in field or equivalent discipline; PhD is preferred; · a record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level; · have experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina (including UR Courses [Moodle]) Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional

Salary Range

Per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours The instructor will deliver the course on campus face-to-face on M/W 5:30-6:45pm. Instructors are expected to have one office hour per week. Course Modality On Campus - Face to Face Course Dates and Time Mondays, Wednesdays -1730-1845 Duration (if Term/Temporary) September 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026. Sessional Lecturers may have preparatory work to do before the start date and sometimes may have to deal with grading tasks after the termination date.
