Market context

IB geography roles in British Columbia

In British Columbia, MYP Individuals and Societies and DP Geography roles are typically competitive because schools look for teachers who can work within the BC Curriculum and IB expectations while managing a full secondary workload. This posting is strongest for candidates with BC certification, a BEd or equivalent, and at least some IB experience; small class sizes and a comprehensive compensation package may also matter. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your BC certificate status and prepare examples of IB lesson planning and assessment.
