  • <p><strong>NON-CERTIFIED TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL (NCTTOC)</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p>The Langley School District is situated on the traditional unceded territories of the Matsqui, Kwantlen, Katzie, and Semiahmoo First Nations.

  • We offer a broad range of innovative programs and services to support the learning of our students and staff in 32 elementary, 5 middle, and 9 Secondary schools which are home to over 26,000 students.</p> <p></p> The Langley School district is seeking highly skilled and enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for working with school aged children and adolescents to join our list of <strong>Non-Certified Teachers Teaching On Call (NCTTOC). </strong>This position is for the 2026/2027 school year only.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with a demonstrated work history in a teaching capacity and/or volunteer experience working with children and youth. <br></br><br></br><p><strong>POSTING DETAILS</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Position - </strong>Non-Certified Teacher Teaching On Call (NCTTOC)-School Year 2026/2027</li><li><b>Assignment</b> - All Grades and Subject areas</li><li><strong>Start and Training Date for NCTTOC hires</strong> - September 21, 2026</li><li><strong>Schedule - </strong>Casual / On Call (hours vary widely)</li><li><strong>Location(s)</strong> - Varied<br></br> </li></ul> <p> <strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong> <b> AND TRAINING</b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent academic qualifications</li> <li>Recent successful teaching experience and/or training preferred</li> <li>Effective interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>Ability to determine, judge, and select appropriate course of action within limits of established methods and procedures</li> <li>Demonstrated interest and successful experience working with children and youth</li><li>New hires - commitment to mandatory training starting on September 21, 2026</li></ul><p> <strong><br></br>For your application to be considered, all required documents must be included:</strong></p><ul><li>Resume</li><li>Cover letter (please note teachable areas)</li><li>A copy of your unofficial transcript for your program</li><li>A copy of the credential received</li> <li>Email and contact information of two (2) professional references in a supervisory capacity (including the most recent supervisor)</li></ul><p> In accordance with the Criminal Record Review Act, successful applicants will be required to consent to a Criminal Record Search prior to employment. <br></br></p><p>Successful applicants will be required to obtain a <strong>Letter of Permission (LOP)</strong> from the BC Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB).
