Job description

  • <div> <div><strong>#2627-194 Ellison Elementary</strong></div> <div><strong>0.9 FTE in the area of School Based Resource Teacher</strong></div> <p><strong>This is a Continuing Contract position.</strong></p> <p>This position is effective September 8, 2026. </p> <div> <p><strong>While all applicants will be considered, preference will be given to qualified applicants who self-declare Indigenous ancestry.</strong></p> </div> <div>The starting annual salary for a school teacher position ranges from $60,000 to $110,000, with placement on the range based on the length of service and qualifications in accordance in accordance with the collective agreement.

  • Responsibilities <br></br> will include case management, diagnostic assessment, planning, evaluation and implementation of <br></br> individualized education plans (IEPs) for students’ either claimed or unclaimed within the Ministry <br></br> of Education categories, as well as supervision and direction of Certified Education Assistants <br></br> (CEAs) assigned within a school.
  • The assignment will require collaborative planning within a <br></br> multi-disciplinary team including classroom teachers, school based personnel, itinerant district <br></br> specialists, and Provincial Outreach Program staff.
