THE FACULTY OF ARTS INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR CONTACT ACADEMIC STAFF POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY Course Name Europe and the Mediterranean World Course Number HIST-1014-001 Course Dates: 09/09/2026-12/07/2026 Contract Start Date August 17, 2026 Contract End Date January 25, 2027 Number of Classes 12 Class Times M/W 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM Projected Enrolment 60 Credit Hours 3 Location of Course Main Qualifications Post M.A. studies minimum ABD Remuneration $6,655 (inclusive of vacation pay based on 2019-2026 UWFA-CAS Agreement) Course Description: This lecture course surveys the diversity of human experience from Antiquity to the dawn of the modern era in Europe and the Mediterranean.
