Requirements summary
Master’s degree in counselling or an Inclusion and Equity related master’s degree.
Successful classroom teaching experience.

Experience working with students with Indigenous ancestry and their families.
Varied experience liaising with provincial resource programs, MCFD, and agencies supporting children and youth.

This Coordinator is the teacher in the Program and, as such, supports the day-to-day implementation of the Program including the provision of inclusive instruction at the Grade 1-7 levels, the development and implementation of educational plans (Individual Education Plans, Positive Behavior Support Plans, Safety Plans, etc.), and the coordination of district and community-based therapeutic supports.</p><p>This Coordinator leads Integrated Case Management and liaises with district, community, MoE and MCFD support and services.
This Coordinator designs individualized community or outdoor- based instruction for students and develops and implements robust transition plans for incoming students and students returning to their catchment school.
