EAHR 802 – Foundations of HRD Development: The Theory and Practice of Human Resource Development An examination of the historical, sociological, political, and philosophical forces and traditions that serve to shape HRD in organizations. Theories of, and approaches to, human resource development in organizations, communities and societies will be explored from historical, cultural, socio-political, ideological, and critical perspectives. Position Requirements Normally it is preferred that applicants will have a Ph.D. degree in Education appropriate to the area of instruction. Applicants should also have experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for, knowledge of, and experience in adult education, human resource development, and higher education through research, teaching, and other scholarly experience. Applicants should also have knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs, and current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied. University teaching experience is an asset.
