Requires a high school diploma, a valid vehicle for commuting, and certifications in First Aid/CPR Level C and Medical Administration. Candidates must pass a Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check.

This is a part-time permanent role based in the Edmonton area. The position focuses on delivering engaging, meaningful programming that fosters genuine relationships and a strong sense of belonging among participants. The position requires you to be available for our in-home adult program every Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This position is located in Mayfield, Edmonton West, and therefore will require a consistent and punctual method of commute.
The Community Specialist (CS) will be reporting to the assigned Program Supervisor. As a Community Specialists (CS) you would be an ally and ambassador, you will work front-line and are pivotal to the creation of a safe, caring and community-enriched life for the individuals/families who hire us. Thoughtful program planning and implementation supports participants to connect with their communities - establishing real relationships and creating meaningful days and lives. The conscientious CS will act with integrity, be open to growth, live our purpose, cultivate teamwork, and put forth an extraordinary effort to empower people with diverse abilities and their families to grow, succeed, and belong.
Compensation $19.40 to $23.44/ hour depending on experience and education
