Respite/ Disability Worker - Community Specialist I

The community specialist acts as an ally, providing front-Line support to create a safe, caring, and community-Enriched life for individuals with disabilities through thoughtful program planning and implementation. Key functions include providing enhanced direct care, fostering genuine relationships, empowering participants to achieve goals, and supporting personal hygiene as required.

The minimum education requirement is a high school diploma with little or no work-Related experience required, though experience working with vulnerable individuals is ideal. Candidates must align with core values and successfully pass a police information check, intervention record check, and possess intermediate first aid certification with cpr level c and aed upon hire.
