About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and engaging instructor to support the delivery of an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate program for a cohort of learners in Siksika Nation. This program is designed to support participants in achieving or advancing their Early Childhood Educator certification through a combination of classroom instruction, experiential learning, and practicum support. The successful candidate will deliver course content through a blended learning model, fostering an inclusive, culturally responsive, and learner-centered environment while supporting student success throughout the program.
What you bring
Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification Postsecondary teaching, facilitation, or adult education experience. Minimum of five years experience working in Early Learning and Child Care environments. Strong virtual facilitation skills and comfort using online learning technologies. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and coaching abilities. Understanding of Indigenous perspectives and commitment to culturally responsive teaching practices. Experience working with Indigenous communities is considered a strong asset. A high degree of flexibility and adaptability to unexpected and changing conditions Preferred Experience Teaching or facilitating ECE-related coursework. Supporting practicum learners in workplace settings. Curriculum adaptation for blended or hybrid delivery models. Working within community-based education initiatives.
