The community specialist provides direct care and purposeful support in an engaging, fun, and safe environment, fostering genuine relationships and empowering participants to achieve their goals. Responsibilities also include modeling socially appropriate behaviors, assisting with personal care, maintaining accurate documentation, and complying with emergency processes.
Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma and little to no work-Related experience, aligning with adaptabilities' core values. Required upon hire are a clear police information check, intervention record check, and intermediate first aid certification with cpr level c and aed.
