<p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Position Description</strong></p> <p>A temporary part time (0.335) Prep Teacher is required by School District No.
60 (Peace River North) effective September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
The assignment will be at Taylor Elementary School.</p> <p>Taylor Elementary is a K-6 school located in the beautiful Peace River Valley twenty minutes from the bustling community of Fort St John.
We enroll a population of 120 students.
Our school has a staffing complement of 7 teachers and five support workers as well as a principal and a part time librarian.
We engage in an exciting opportunity for students to learn with hands-on and experiential learning and embrace technology to help students learn and communicate with parents.</p><p> Taylor's unique setting provides outdoor activities that are not found in many schools.
Our students have access to a hill that is utilized for tobogganing and hiking throughout the year.
The District of Taylor is a strong community partner and allows our students access to the skating rink, swimming pool, river, pickle ball court, campground/park, golf course, community hall and curling rink.
