Crofton House School is currently seeking Volleyball coaches to join the Junior School Athletics team. As an Athletic Coach, you will work collaboratively with the Program Coordinator, Athletics, Junior School, as well as other CHS teacher coaches to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students in your care.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver weekly training to students, grade 5 - 7 Depending on candidate’s availability and team’s schedule, a minimum of one morning and one afternoon is required. Athletic schedules follow a Monday to Thursday 3:30 - 5:00 pm afternoon practice and a 7:15 - 8:00 am practice schedule.
- Act as a supporting supervisor for students both in weekly practices and games/tournaments
- Provide mentorship, training, and support to students
- Support and develop the leadership ability of students
- Read, understand and observe all processes and procedures outlined in the Crofton House School Athletic Coaches Handbook
- Confirm practice, league and tournament season schedule with the Jr. School Athletic Coordinator
- Maintain open communication with the school administration, other CHS coaches and the Athletics Coordinator in support of Volleyball students
- Maintain accurate meeting attendance records of students at games and practices
- Be available to meet with the Athletic Coordinator to review progress and future plans
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times
- Uphold the CHS Identity and Commitments
- Other responsibilities as required
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience
- 1+ years of experience coaching a volleyball team
- Demonstrable awareness of the learning styles of girls and young women
- Committed to the standards of professional practice
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

This role starts September 2026.
Total Compensation
up to $2,000 depending on experience and availability.
