  • Graduate of an accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program.
  • Current License to practice Dental Assisting in Saskatchewan.
  • Min. 2 years recent and relevant (2 years within the last 5 years) dental assisting experience in a dental office.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current dental assisting principles and techniques-up to date with current dental assisting courses.
  • Recent experience in teaching dental assisting skills and/or a recent experience in a clinical environment.
  • Ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners with the required knowledge and skills.
  • Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty.
