QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Description Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program.
- Current License to practice Dental Assisting in Saskatchewan.
- Min. 2 years recent and relevant (2 years within the last 5 years) dental assisting experience in a dental office.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current dental assisting principles and techniques-up to date with current dental assisting courses.
- Recent experience in teaching dental assisting skills and/or a recent experience in a clinical environment.
- Ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners with the required knowledge and skills.
- Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty.
