Note: This is a vacancy for a part-time Support position (up to 24 hours per week) starting September 8, 2026, and ending December 19, 2026. Hours may vary based on program needs and employee availability.

  • There is a one-day mandatory staff training that takes place prior to the start of the semester. Why This Role Is Important Reporting to the Program Manager, the casual Paramedic Program Technologist will assist faculty and students in the paramedic labs with learning activities within the Paramedic program.

  • Bring: Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant (AEMCA) Certification required Certified in good standing with an aligned Ontario Base Hospital as a Paramedic Actively employed as a Paramedic with a minimum of 2 years of full-time equivalent experience working at the applicable certification level Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in an academic setting A strong commitment to student engagement and success Ability to multi-task and work independently Experience with medical equipment, simulation equipment, and laboratory preparation considered an asset Must be available to work 50% of exam day Fanshawe College uses Workday to manage recruitment and hiring processes.
