Job Summary Reporting to the Associate Dean, Undergraduate Programs, this position provides administrative support for undergraduate admissions and advising within the Engineering and Computer Science programs. The role serves as a primary point of contact for prospective and current students, providing accurate information on admission requirements, program pathways, and academic regulations. The position supports the administration of admissions processes, maintains student records and databases, and coordinates transfer credit activities and agreements with partner institutions. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to respond effectively to sensitive or complex student inquiries while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with university policies and procedures. Job Requirements Experience: This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to three (3) years’ recent experience working within a comparable administrative environment, preferably in a post-secondary or institutional setting. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience working with databases and administrative systems, including data entry, tracking, and record maintenance.
  • Proficiency with computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite and student information systems such as Banner or equivalent).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with a focus on service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with university admissions and advising processes, and familiarity with student information systems, is an asset.
