Core responsibilities
- Provide academic support to indigenous students.
- Assist with program delivery and cultural/Social-Emotional support.
- Support learning activities in classroom and community settings.
- Act as a positive role model and cultural bridge.
- Help facilitate trauma-Informed learning experiences.
- Maintain safe work practices and confidentiality.
- Participate in staff meetings and perform assigned duties
Requirements summary
- Grade 12 diploma and completion of responsible adult course or equivalent.
- At least 1 year recent experience working with youth or children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Knowledge of child abuse protocols.
- Computer literacy and willingness to learn technology
