Core responsibilities
- Teach practicum courses in therapeutic recreation.
- Instruct students and facilitate learning.
- Evaluate student progress.
- Plan, organize, and manage learning activities.
- Provide academic advice.
- Conduct site visits.
- Work collaboratively with department members
Requirements summary
- Master’s degree in therapeutic recreation or related field (Phd preferred).
- Credential in therapeutic recreation, recreation, or leisure studies.
- Experience in therapeutic recreation practice settings.
- Post-Secondary teaching experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to use online learning platforms
