Patient Intake Nurse (Part-Time, Term)

The incumbent will assess and clarify the physical and mental condition of patients to determine medical suitability for the faculty of dentistry. Responsibilities include reviewing patient charts, classifying asa status, and serving as a medical resource for the interdisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in nursing and be a registered nurse in good standing with the college of nurses of ontario. A minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience in primary health is required, along with current bcls, first aid, and cpr certifications.
