  • Casual Residential Care Worker (RCW) positions are available in our Vancouver and Richmond group homes, supporting residents’ physical, emotional, social, and recreational needs.

  • Wage: $26.83 - $29.76 + 10.6% in lieu of benefits as per the collective agreement (2024 rates, implementation of new collective agreement is in process, and new wage rates $28.46 to $31.57 will be implemented once funding is received)

Requirements/Education/Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in an area directly related to supporting people with developmental disabilities, such as Social Services, Human Services, or Education
  • 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, or related equivalent experience
  • Experience with, or training in, areas of adaptive communication, positive behaviour support, and community care is an asset
  • Valid First Aid/CPR upon start date
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Willingness to obtain a Class 4 Unrestricted Driver's License
  • Satisfactory Driver's Abstract
  • Criminal Record Clearance
  • TB Test Clearance
  • Medical clearance
  • Demonstrated competency in English, written, and oral communication
  • Eligible to work in Canada
