Registered Nurse (RN) - Short Stay Pediatrics - Training Opportunity

The registered nurse will focus on providing specialized care to pediatric patients, which includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their care needs. Responsibilities also involve participating in discharge planning, acting as a client advocate, educating families, and collaborating with other healthcare providers.

Applicants for this specialty training opportunity must be eligible for post-Basic training education, prioritized for those with approximately two years of recent acute medical/Surgical experience by the pediatric program start date, with preference given to those with high-Acuity training. Candidates must successfully complete the required post-Basic training education before working in the department and commit to remaining with vancouver coastal health for at least 18 months after training completion.
