Registered Nurse (RN) - Perinatal - Training Opportunity

The registered nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal perinatal care, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, to women, babies, and their families. Responsibilities involve performing comprehensive patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and appropriate documentation according to professional standards and health authority policies.

Applicants must be eligible for the post-Basic training education, prioritizing those with approximately one year of recent acute medical/Surgical experience by the program start date. Candidates accepting this training opportunity must commit to remaining with vancouver coastal health as a regular status nurse in the specialty area for at least 18 months after completing the training.
