Internal: Counsellor, Children's Services - Marathon CC260330

The counsellor provides comprehensive, person-Centered assessment, counselling, and discharge planning for children and youth with mental health challenges or developmental disabilities, working collaboratively within a clinical team to deliver core mental health services.

Candidates must meet educational eligibility for registration with one of the six colleges governed by the psychotherapy act, 2007, demonstrating knowledge of evidence-Based practices, child protection legislation, and an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles. A valid ontario driver's licence and access to a private vehicle are also required.
