Autism Services Therapist

The autism services therapist delivers individual and group applied behaviour analysis-Based programs for children and youth with autism to foster skill development and address interfering behaviors. This role also involves supporting families to ensure skills are generalized and maintained across different settings.

Candidates need a behavioural science advanced diploma program, autism and behavioural science graduate certificate, or an honours bachelor degree in psychology or related discipline, though a child and youth worker diploma with relevant knowledge may suffice. Demonstrated knowledge of autism, child development, and the ability to implement aba programs, along with driving capability in the sharbot lake area, are essential.
