The intensive services counsellor provides evidence-Informed intensive intervention to children and youth with complex mental health issues and their families in various settings, collaborating with inter-Professional team members. This role also involves providing support, education, training, and coaching to clients, as well as covering day treatment classrooms and participating in crisis standby rosters.
Candidates must possess a child and youth diploma and/Or a bachelor's degree in behavioural sciences or child, youth and family studies, complemented by two years of experience working with children and youth facing mental health challenges. Fluency in both english and french, written and verbal, is mandatory for this position.
