Core responsibilities
The primary responsibility involves implementing interventions for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental/Motor delays, executing treatment plans supervised by a registered occupational therapist. Daily tasks include communicating progress, preparing materials, maintaining a positive environment, ensuring client safety, and tracking progress through data collection.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in occupational therapy, demonstrate familiarity with assessment tools, and maintain knowledge of current research in the ot field. Eligibility or membership with cotbc / Coto / Acot is required, along with legal authorization to work in canada and strong interpersonal skills.
