Child and Youth Care Worker

Responsibilities include building trust through playful engagement, guiding youth through crises using intervention strategies, and supporting them through presence and accountability. Workers must also create moments of joy, teach life skills, and document daily activities while collaborating on individualized therapeutic plans.

Candidates must possess a deep passion for supporting youth with complex behavioural needs, demonstrating patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain calm and set firm boundaries. Required compliance includes owning a reliable 4-Door vehicle, holding an alberta class 5 driver's license with a clear 10-Year abstract, current first aid/Cpr c, $2 million liability insurance, and clear criminal record and intervention record checks.
