Child and Youth Care Worker

The child and youth care worker will establish relationships to guide and support youth through mentorship and role modelling while supervising them both at home and in the community. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation of daily activities and participating in the care team for care plan development.

Mandatory requirements include a valid alberta class 5 driver's license, specific auto insurance coverage, valid first aid/Cpr certification, and recent criminal record and intervention record checks. A degree or diploma in child and youth care or social work, along with suicide prevention training, are assets.
