Child Care Worker (FT) - Lurana Shelter

The child care worker is responsible for providing a safe, violence-Free environment for children at the lurana shelter, which includes completing assessments and facilitating play-Based activities to support their development. Key duties also involve teaching positive coping strategies, adhering to safety procedures, maintaining professional conduct, and completing necessary documentation and administrative tasks.

A minimum of a child care level iii certification or equivalent is required, along with at least two years of related professional experience working with children exposed to violence. Candidates must possess sound knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, high professionalism, and effective english communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing client needs.
