Core responsibilities

Employment coaches will conduct comprehensive needs assessments and provide ongoing, individualized guidance to support each participant’s employment journey, coordinating wraparound supports through collaboration with community organizations. They will also develop and strengthen relationships with indigenous communities and cultivate strong partnerships with employers to promote inclusive hiring practices.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a post-Secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience, along with experience working with youth or persons facing barriers due to complex needs. Required qualifications also include strong facilitation skills, computer proficiency in specific software, and the ability to obtain emergency first aid/Cpr-C certification and a satisfactory criminal record check.
