Core responsibilities

The educator will provide quality care and creative programming directly to children while building meaningful relationships with children and families. They must work with their team to create a supportive and safe environment and deliver age-Appropriate programs based on the ymca playing to learn curriculum.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a basic ece certification or bc ecea certification from a recognized program in british columbia, along with required emergency first aid and cpr-C & aed certificates to be obtained shortly after starting. Infant toddler educator or special needs educator licenses are considered assets.
