Day Camp Counsellor

The day camp counsellor is responsible for planning and delivering daily programs such as group games, crafts, and swimming, while ensuring participant satisfaction under the guidance of supervisors. Major duties include supervising, engaging with participants, applying behavior management techniques, and ensuring the safety of all individuals and property.

Candidates should ideally possess an ontario secondary school diploma and have experience leading group activities with children aged 4 to 12, such as babysitting. Essential qualifications include current standard first aid and cpr c certifications, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to pass a satisfactory police record with vulnerable sector check.
