Day Camp Counsellor

The day camp counsellor is responsible for planning and delivering daily programs such as group games, crafts, and swimming to ensure participant satisfaction under the leadership of a supervisor. Major duties include supervising participants, applying behavior management techniques, ensuring safety, and communicating with staff and parents.

Candidates must possess a preferred ontario secondary school diploma and have experience working with or leading group activities for children aged 4 to 12, such as babysitting. Essential qualifications include current standard first aid and cpr c certification, along with a current and satisfactory police record with vulnerable sector check.
