School Age Educator - Ferndale

The educator will provide personal care to children, including toileting, first aid, and medication administration, while actively engaging with and ensuring the safety of groups of up to 15 children independently. This role also involves planning and implementing play-Based learning according to the ymca curriculum and maintaining positive communication with families and staff.

Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old, possess or be willing to obtain standard first aid and cpr (Level c) certification, and pass a vulnerable sector check. Required educational background includes being a registered early childhood educator or actively enrolled in or holding a diploma/Degree in ece, child & youth work/Care, rec & leisure, or education.
