The summer early childhood outreach worker will support and facilitate family involvement in earlyon child and family centres by bringing appropriate materials and activities to locations where newly arrived families reside. Key duties include providing community outreach to encourage participation and building positive relationships with children, parents, and service providers.
Requirements summary
Applicants must possess a secondary school diploma and be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of employment, with postsecondary studies or experience in related fields like early childhood education or social work. Essential requirements include sensitivity working with diverse families and willingness to work flexible hours, along with first aid/Cpr training.
